Our Fellowship Ministries at Bates Memorial Baptist Church are designed to provide a supportive, loving community for all. Whether you are a single mom, a young adult looking for guidance, or someone who has experienced loss and grief, we have a ministry designed to meet your unique needs. Through our ministries, we strive to create an environment that fosters growth, community, and a deepening relationship with God.
Children's Church Ministry
Welcome to Bates Memorial Baptist Church's Children's Church Ministry! Our ministry is committed to providing a fun and engaging environment for children to learn and grow in their faith. We believe that children are an important part of our church community, and we strive to make our ministry a place where they feel loved, valued, and encouraged.
G.L.A.D. Support Group
Ministry Leaders: Yvonne Graves, Jonathon White, and Walter Holder Jr
Mission/Vission Statement: To provide a Ministry that addresses the needs of those who have experienced, are now experiencing, or will experience Grief, Loss, Anxiety and/or Depression. This also includes appropriate referrals for those with other mental health needs. Ministry serves any members in need of our Ministry Services.
Meeting Times: Every Thursday from 6:30 - 7:30PM.

Chosen Generation Youth Ministry

Mission/Vission Statement: To see The Chosen Generation become the catalyst for change amongst ourselves, our congregation, & our community!
Our ministry is geared towards 6th - 12th Grade students.
Meeting Times: Wednesdays 7pm - 8:30pm ,Thursdays 6:30pm - 8:00 pm , 3rd Saturdays 3:00pm - 6:00pm

LOVE Marriage Ministry

Mission/Vission Statement: Our Mission is to provide married couples with the practical tools to build, enrich and sustain Christ-Centered Marriages. We promote biblical principles, accountability, modeling and fellowship to strengthen marriages. Geared towards Married Couples & Couples within 3 months of their wedding date.

FLAME Young Adult Ministry

Mission/Vision Statement: FLAME, also known as the Bates Memorial Baptist Church Young Adult Ministry, is a thriving, energetic and evolving team of young adults. In our attempt to grow together as kingdom-builders at Bates Memorial Baptist Church, we are serious about discipleship development. Geared towards: High school graduates, ages eighteen and over up to those thirty-eight-year-olds.

Sisters With A Boldness For Christ - Women's Ministry
Ministry Leader: Carolyn Roberson
Mission/Vision Statement: Committed to becoming a ministry for the whole woman: mind, body, and spirit! To support women in becoming all that God desires them to be through activities/events that:
--Foster a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ
--Assist in growth and maturity of their faith
--Recognize and utilize their God-given gifts
--Promote and establish friendships with other sisters who can partner with them in their faith walk
Meeting Times: Monthly Women's Bible Study meets every 3rd Saturday, 8:30-10:30 a.m.
